Basic Pottery: Hand Building and Wheel Throwing

Grades: 6th-12th

Learn to throw clay on the potter’s wheel and take your basic throwing skills to the next level. Students will be expertly guided pertaining to each individual skill; we will examine the art of throwing taller and larger vessels.

This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Social distancing, mandatory masking, frequent hand washing, and all applicable safety guidelines will be practiced. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
