Grades: 3rd-5th
Do you love music? If so, then this rhythm and beat class is for you. Join us with local, professional musician Will Padgett, as we take a trip through the history of Appalachian, folk, Irish, country, and other music styles. The class will provide REAL instruments to try out, rhythm and beat games, group singing, songwriting, ukelele lessons, and creating your own playable instrument.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center and all applicable safety guidelines will be practiced. Parents should provide two peanut-free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
