Election Day No School Day | Civic Animals (Help LASC elect the next animal mayor) : K-5th

Vote for Creativity: Art and Science in Action! In this class you’ll get to be a part of LASC’s first election to nominate an animal ambassador as mayor of LASC. Students will learn about what it means to be a good citizen and how the government works. We’ll discuss how leaders are chosen through elections, and the important job everyone has to help make their community a better place. 

This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
