Who wants to walk the runway? Get ready to unleash your inner designer in this exciting summer camp class! In Recycled Fashion, students will learn how to transform everyday recycled items into stylish, one-of-a-kind pieces. This class is all about creativity, sustainability, and fun! You’ll gain hands-on experience with basic sewing techniques, and upcycling methods while exploring the world of eco-friendly fashion. Plus, we’ll dive into the importance of sustainability and how fashion can be part of the solution to environmental challenges. At the end of the camp, you’ll showcase your creations in a fun, fashionable runway show, where you can share your innovative designs with friends and family. Whether you’re passionate about fashion or just want to make a positive impact on the planet.
This class will meet in person at the Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
