Summer Camp | Culinary Science: 6th-8th grade

You can’t have one without the other! This hands-on camp blends cooking and chemistry for middle schoolers interested in both science and food. Students will learn cooking skills, kitchen safety, and the science behind what happens in the kitchen while practicing how to read recipes and prepare a variety of dishes. Along the way, campers will relax, have fun, and record their recipes in their own cookbooks. In preparation for students to be confident and ready to cook at home for their families.

This class will meet in person at The Living Arts & Science Center. Parents should provide two peanut free snacks, one lunch, and a personal water bottle for their child.
